The Three Rivers Rambler Depot
The Three Rivers Rambler Depot, where the train departs, is located at the University Commons across from the old Wal-Mart and Publix at 2560 University Commons Way, Knoxville, TN 37919. Plenty of free parking is available next to the depot-- both on the opposite side of the tracks from the depot, and the old Wal-Mart and Publix parking garage.
The University Commons complex is easily accessed by taking the Kingston Pike exit going either direction on Alcoa Hwy and heading east towards UT campus. If traffic is heavy, taking the Neyland Drive exit on Alcoa highway to Joe Johnson Drive is also an option. Please click here for directions or call 865-524-9411.
Construction on the new depot began in 2014 and was finished in 2015. The depot is part of the University Commons shopping center that contains multiple retail stores and restaurants.
